Post by: grobmotorix on October 20, 2016, 04:02:06 AM
Who knows the builder of this car?

I do only know his name and a year - any additional information would be highly appreciated.

BSA Scout - No.
This car is some years older than 1935, so it can not be a BSA Scout...

French bodywork - Yes.

Could it be a Bunau-Varilla design?

So that's not the name you have?

I only know Bunau-Varilla patented at least one type of coachwork where the entire rear section lifted to allow easy access. I only know of one example built, on a Bugatti, which obviously isn't this, but thought it could be an improvement of that design.

Is the name you have known, at all, in the automotive field?
