Hi! Sorry i've been gone! Schools  just started back up and i've been working on getting back in the loop of school stuff..

While this is indeed a G-Wagon XXL, I found some info on this vehicle and there's a little bit of info that makes this one in particular so special. If you can find out what this exact XXL G-Wagon is, the point is yours!

Ok. My sources say that this isn't an AMG, dated pre-1990s and the peculiar bit about it - is that massive rad is likely an indication of this car is bulletproof.
Like this one from 1984 280GE, not a same car:

You are right about it being pre-1990's, and that it's bulletproof, but I do know that this specific model does have an AMG engine in it.

Because I feel really bad that I didn't respond for 20 days, i'll give you a really big hint that'll hopefully help you find an answer! Your Hint: Rocket Launchers

Thats it! The point is yours! In case you didn't know what made this specific XXL special, it was built for the Shah of Iran in 1975. Also came with "rocket launchers" which im pretty sure are just fog lamps.

The G was unveiled in 1979 so this one can't have been made in 1975.

Well if you look at the historical data, this G-Class was specially built for the Shah of Iran in 1975, before his overthrow in 1979. And thats when the XXL G-Class was shown to the world. It must have just been a special build like all other automakers have done for wealthy middle-eastern kings or entrepreneurs.
