Its a John Walter Christie 1932 prototype for a 4 ton flying tank. It was designed for a detachable set of biplane wings and was to have a hull mounted 75mm main gun.  It didn't seem intended to have a turret. Official designation M1932.

Not much to add other than to point out JWC himself standing front and center in the image with blueprints in hand. A point for you.
