Well known? Gaston Chevrolet?
I had never heard of this vehicle or its builder/owner/driver before. As I stated above, I have no idea what powers this thing (Chevy or otherwise). I do know the claimed horsepower rating, however.

Did this car win a race(s)?
I know that it was set to participate in a particular race, but I have been unable to find any information on how well it performed in that event or any others.

I'm not sure what you are asking here. I can say that the builder's last name appears to be of British origin (Welsh, to be specific). In addition, I have no reason to believe that either the car or builder were from Quebec (French Canadian). Does this answer your question?

The picture was found online, but I wouldn't describe the source website as any of those things.

Is the builder's name Williams? (there used to be so many Williams in the Welsh army units that they were referred to by their surname and the last 3 figures of their service number)
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

The car has a name of its own. For the point, I'm looking for the full name of the car and its builder.
Oguerrerob, you have earned a 48-hour lock to provide the full name of the car and its builder. (You will not find one without the other.)

Oguerrerob

Is the car's name refering to a tangible thing (like Tornado, torpedo, or animal....)?

A proper name?
It doesn't contain a full proper name, however, it contains elements of the builders first and last names.

Well, I'm a little confused, there's more than one builder in this car. Davies & ...
Are the 'Elements of the builders' Something like Engineers?
