Don't be confused by my typo; I was typing quickly and omitted the apostrophe in "builder's" by mistake. As far as I am aware, there is only one builder/owner/driver and his last name is Davies.

The vehicle's name incorporates elements of this builder's first name and his last name (Davies). Imagine, for example, if Elon Musk had not chosen the brand name Tesla, and instead named his car the Eluskmobile, or the Elonskcar, or the El Muskaramo, or something similar.
