No BMW connection.
I see it as a Ford 10 Special albeit with a radiator cowl copied from BMW.
Having decided that's what it is, I've had no luck finding it. . .

It is indeed a Ford 10 Special. Since you haven't had luck finding it, I won't embarass you with a lock!
I thought the radiator cowl was fairly obviously modified from a Ford Popular item, which is why I suggested no points for the base car. I was wrong to assume this. Now we all know, what is it?
Any Dellow connection?
Bob Evans's Nordec-Ford 10

Not a Dellow, because this is the correct answer. It was usually entered as a Nordec Special, although I'm not sure how much input there was from the Nordec business, apart from a Marshall supercharger. (We've already had the Nordec car as a previous puzzle). Many contemporary entry lists have the car as a Nordic Special, which was a different kettle of fish altogether.
Interestingly, the builder Bob Evans was also responsible for another puzzle of mine, the Kinloch-Climax.
Well solved, although TBH this car was covered on another well-known website in recent months ;D. I'm surprised other members weren't on the ball.
