I'll give you the point for finding the car, but it is not Buick-based. It was built on a 1956 Oldsmobile 88 chassis and powered by an Olds 324 Rocket motor. Forrest Robinson began the project in 1960 and the car was completed in 1963.

Thanks for the point.
Sorry, I didn't pay enough attention to the description of the car on the site I got the pictures from..
It did say it was based on an Olds 88 with a Rocket engine, but I thought I'd read on the auction site that it was Buick-powered so didn't read on!
