One for the rookies.

For one  point, please respond and identify this car.

Lavrakas

Looks like an NSU 1000 of the late 60s. I thought the Prinz was a good little car.
The more I consider the nature of speed, the more mysterious I find it.

Wendax

A regular NSU 1000 would be a bit too easy, even for a rookie puzzle. Locked for you to find out what is different.

Lavrakas

Sadly not going to get this one. Please unlock.
The more I consider the nature of speed, the more mysterious I find it.

Is the difference in powertrain?
A stagnant profile is a stagnant mind.

Wendax

No, technically it should be like a common NSU 1000.

Lavrakas

Some were made under licence in Sarajevo, Cairo and Argentina but none, I think, with the distinctive oval headlights. Jacques Tati had a 1000 in the film Trafic but this isn't it and he isn't the driver in the photograph.
The more I consider the nature of speed, the more mysterious I find it.

Wendax

Nothing to do with Jacques Tati, but follow your first thought. It is a NSU built outside Germany.
Locked for you.

Lavrakas

I've found a picture of an NSU 1000 "registered in Beograd" with the oval headlights, so I guess the answer is Sarajevo.
The more I consider the nature of speed, the more mysterious I find it.

Wendax

The car has a name of its own.

Wendax

That's it.
