Not Casale. He worked in Bassano too (for a coachbuilder) but this project of his was from his place, nearby.

Thiene? Carrozzeria Centrale?
The builder of this car worked for a Carrozzeria from Bassano, not Thiene o Centrale.
Early 60s he left that Carrozzeria and set up his own officina nearby (R______ ______ is the place).
The car changed hands few times.
I have no record of the original builder today and a search under his name gave no results (even if the surname seems to be quite common in that area).

Just to confirm I'm understanding the exchange so far, please let me know if any of the following are incorrect:

  • The builder is still in business;
No, I don't think so.
  • the builder has a garage/shop in Veneto (where this car was built);
Yes, he set up his own business near Bassano
  • the builder has worked for a carrozzeria in Bassano (not Casale), but is not in business as a coachbuilder at his own garage/shop; and
yes, he left the coachbuilder and opened his own officina, a small carrozzeria.
  • this car is still with the builder.
Nope, it changed few hands.

Thanks!
