I've a solution for C-4-t but the step 4 isn't too clear:
C = Georges Irat OLC3 with Labourdette body after WWII
4 = Flaminio Bertoni's grave, Flaminio Bertoni was the designer of the Citröen 11 and the Georges Irat OLC3
had the motor and drive system of that car
t = Georges Irat VDB (Voiture du Bled)
You are right, as Architecture 4 is not the fitting part as I had it in my mind. Anyhow, C-?-t locked for you.

Is K-?-q still locked?
I think Pal has had his chance and I can unlock I-24-? and K-?-q. Go ahead, Robbie.

I've found the solution for K-?-q, but as ropat53 was the first to react I'll wait for his next post before giving the solution.

Thank you both very much

There are only two buildings left (13 & 15) that lead me to the solution of the puzzle, but I do not see any relationship with Georges Irat. Does the connection refer to the location or the name of the building?

No, but one of these buildings has a relationship to Georges Irat.

luisps

13 is "La Sapiniere" where Georges Irat rented a part of the building as his first family home, was at  2 Avenue Corot in Le Vesinet , which is a town near Chatou, place of the first factory of Georges Irat.
So the correct puzzle solution is C-13-t

Well found! This leaves two cars unidentified.

I'm not certain about this one, as I haven't managed to identify the car element, so it's a sort of reverse-engineering job.

I think the combination is E-15-z. Working backwards, Extra z is a 1920s Jowett, and with that and the name on the side of the bonnet, it's possible to identify the man sitting in it as Robert Ellison. He would go on to drive a Jowett Jupiter in the 1952 Monte Carlo Rally - not successfully, as it happens, as he crashed during the event. The car he drove was a coupe with bodywork by J E Farr & Sons of Blackburn, Lancashire.

This seems to be relevant, as Architecture 15 is called the Farr Building in Allentown, Pennsylvania, once a shoe factory and retail outlet, but now mostly up-market apartments.

But the car is the problem. I'm guessing it's E, and bodied by Farr, but I haven't been able to prove it. It's not Ellison's Monte Carlo car, which was restored, and still exists. Is it another Farr-bodied Jupiter? One did come up for sale recently, in need of restoration, but the listing no longer has any pictures. Or am I barking up the proverbial wrong one?

No, you are right on all accounts. Another one solved.

Now that only one unidentified car, an identified piece of architecture and two unknown extras are left, I will grant no more locks until this puzzle is solved. Last orders, please!

Was the body of Car V built in Antony ?

You are right about Car V and Architecture 4, as well as their connection. x is not the missing part, so it has to be the other one. But tell me why.

Yes, this leaves just Extra x (like unknown  :)) to be identified and tied to I-24. Who will be the first?

I found it
I: F.A.T.A. Aurea - Societa Italiana Ferrotaie (Turin 1920-1922)
24:Domus Aurea
X: Ferrotaie. Società Italiana per materiali siderurgici e ferroviari

Wendax

Well found, Ferrotaie was the company behind the Aurea car.

That finishes up this puzzle. It was fun to build and fun to see you struggle.  ;D
And it won't be the last one of its kind.

Thank you Wendax, it's been great fun, very frustrating at times, but enjoyed every moment. Looking forward to more.

Unfortunately I did not have much time for this, though it was great, great fun

Tom_I

Yes, another superb puzzle - thank you.

Just one thing (as Columbo used to say). Do you have any other pictures of the Farr-bodied Jowett Jupiter (Car E)? I couldn't find any apart from one old photo of the front. I'm assuming it's the car registered FRJ 351.

oko94

Great work Wendax, that was a fun group puzzle !
