Is this based on a Mazda MX5?

Just changed my mind - is it a Roy Kelly bodykit for a Porsche 924/944 ?
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

I posted my answer, and hesitated.  Do I really want to graduate?  Too late now.

The MX250 is completely out of proportion, from a side view.  Wrong wheelbase, or poor design?
