Find that door.

For one point, please respond and identify this car.

olavr

I guess it is a Borgward Isabella. According to a website I found, only 2 off 4-door cars were made

Wendax

Yes, locked for you to find the builder.

olavr

Prototype designed by swiss coachbuilder Wakter König. When the cars were designed by a coachbuilder, the cars were presumably built by the same company

Let's be clear about the fact that the prior thread contains photos of two separate cars. The black Köng/Dietrich conversion (subject of the prior puzzle) and the ivory "taxi" are not the same car. In fact, these cars have even appeared together at Borgward meetings.

Is this puzzle car the "taxi" from the other thread? If so, the extent of what I know is that it has been called a "homemade" conversion.

Wendax

Yes, it is the "taxi". It was converted by a private person, but the name can be found.

Owned and converted by Willi Johaentges, proprietor of Willi Johaentges Karosseriebau of Schweich

Wendax

Yes, I met this nice man and his car at a Borgward meeting last month in Hamburg. He is the man standing behind the car in the first of the attached pictures.

Thanks for this puzzle. I only knew the other 4 door conversion.
