You certainly found the car. It is a Goliath GD 750, but there is something special about it, and it is not from 1954. Locked for you.

The GD 750 "woody" does have a designation (one extra letter) of its own, and this one is a special one. It is not from 1955.

It should be Goliath GD 750 K, year 1950

Yes, it is a Goliath GD 750 K from 1950, and that is what makes it special. It is a pre-production prototype with a shock absorber at the front wheel which never made it into production and a body style different to the production models which appeared in 1951.
