Probably from a later date, 1959 ?

Not that late.  I think it is a car built in 1954 or so and photographed later, in the year it appears most often in records posted on the usual Internet sites.

I have it as a Tojeiro-MG from 1957.  A point is on its way.

Thank you. In the header you write Tojeiro-MG in stead of Tojeiro-Bristol ?

Whoops!  Let's hope an admin can correct it.  I can't see a way that I can.

Done.

(It has been observed that the bonnet line is rather low for a Bristol motor, and the air intake would correspond to the SU carbs for an MG engine. Just an observation)

I agree that it looks a little low for a Bristol engine, but it does appear set well back in the chassis.  It doesn't look like pictures of any other Tojeiro, whether Climax, MG, Butterworth, or Jaguar powered.  I therefore took the caption of Tojeiro-Bristol as correct.  Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the John Tojeiro biography, which presumably includes pictures of most of his cars.
