Who knows this car and its builder?

				Up!

				Ford Model T base?

				I think so.

That sure looks like a Chevy Bowtie on the grill shell.

Yes, but who has been the constructor of this special version?

				Up!

				Another mail carrier?

The only purpose of this car was fun...

				Black hole?

Before it goes away, was it built as a "swamp buggy?"

To my best knowledge - no.

In the 1920's, Ford built light recon versions of the Model T for evaluation by the US Army. I wonder if this guy found a surplus example and fitted even larger wheels?

				Sweet!
But I think it was just a conversion of an ordinary T-model.

				Otto:
Thanks very much for the photo of the Model T.
I had never seen that one before.

Still searching. I found some pics of a Model A mailman's car that is similar. It recently came up for sale at an auction in Montana

				Tiny full colours. No name

Well, it is the car, but I know the name...
It was also featured in a German car magazine in 1928:

				And another explanation

Wow - I could think this was the same car in a later guise.
Only still we do not have the name of the builder here...

Accordin to this source Auto's Superballoon Tires was built as advertise a Service Station by Willard D Morgan

This is could be the same car, however the builder´s name is different - no "Morgan" connection, sorry...
A different photo of your version:

I've found this picture and the description reads:
"A mammoth-wheeled car that can be seen on the streets of Los Angeles. These wheels have an unbelievable durability, but they cannot achieve great speed, but the level of wear and tear on the car is very low".

This is the same car indeed - I need to know the builder´s name - which I do know... ;)

Ted Castle Ford 1932 Los Angeles California, USA

Perfect! That´s TWO points for you.

				Thank you!

The second car is a Chevrolet
