There is no Sunbeam connection. I'm afraid I don't know if the chassis was shortened - I don't think so but cannot be certain.
PS just checked my source. The donor car was damaged and the rear of the chassis had to be replaced with parts from another car. The resulting wheelbase was 108 inches. I have no idea if this is standard for the donor car.
Are engine and chassis from the same donor car?

Are engine and chassis from the same donor car?
Engine and front half of the chassis are from the same car.
Hence the different wheels, is this car more modern mechanically than its 1930s appearance suggests?
Is the donor a Derby Bentley?
Not a Derby Bentley. The base car originates from the 1930s.
Not Derby Bentley, but is it a Bentley of any description?

1934 Graham Paige "Brookes Special"!
That's the one! Built in 1949 from a wrecked 1934 Graham-Paige with a supercharged straight-8 motor. It was in a Bonhams auction - Rear chassis by Austin, rear axle from a Chrysler, Windscreen from a 1922 Cluley, steering wheel from a 1925 Bean, a real mixture of marques.
One point to you.
