Found it on eBay : "Set of rear lights for Moskvitch 408/412 a1 a2 a8 a10 1/43 ussr original New"

Aaah! That's the reason why they looked familiar and strange at the same time. They are rear lights not of a real car, but of a model car. I have some of those Moskvich models myself somewhere in a box in the basement. I think one is missing a rear light.

That is it, I thought with it being a 1/43rd scale kit it would have been harder to locate.

Mind you the price on the eBay auction is high - £23 for two bits of plastic about 5-10mm long....
