For one point, please identify this car and the year :)
Experts ?
It looks a repost of: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=4157.100
In such post was identified as CASTA but it shows a different name in its front, looks made in the '40s and should have no engine, maybe pedal powered. I'll be nice to know something else about it.
Yes , there is a connection with Casta ! ;)
Stela, french electric car built from 1941 to 1944.
Not a Stela !
Pros ?
It is an electric "microvettura realizzata nei dopoguerra nell'officina di Emilio Castagna" - which means that this was a microcar by Emilio Castagna, made in 1940, called Trottolina
Yes , Emilio was the brother of the coachbuilder Ercole Castagna
1 point for pnegyesi !
I think something is wrong here....I'll post what I have soon!
The car in this picture was the one Emilio Castagna built for Giorgio P. Pennacchio, builder of the Lucciola.
In the hi-res picture I have, you can read Pennacchio on the wheel cover.
I have a pic of the 3-wheeled pedal car that should be the Trottolina and it's quite different.
don't blame me, blame Manovella :)
I wanted to place this as a puzzle, but Wendax informed me about this existing one.
Can anybody explain, why there is a big "Stela" name written on the front right car edge?
I had this one as a french WW2 electric car prototype:
My picture is gone.
I'll upload it again.
This car should be called Pennacchio...at least that's the name written in its wheels.

As I understand it, this is indeed the
Stela from Ing. Pennacchio. This name was actually written on both front wings. The Trottolina built by Emilio Castagna was definitely a pedal car which has nothing to do with the one pictured here.
There is a lot of confusion surrounding this car, including his name as it is generally called a Lucciola (wrong in my opinion, as this was actually the name of the subsequent pedal car introduced by Pennacchio at the Milan Fair in April 1942, then the one given to his petrol microcar from 1947-48). Same about its source of power: a 250cc Condor-Guidetti engine is mentioned, but this visibly applies to the 1947-48 car. Obviously the fact that a (much larger) electric car was being built in France under the name Stela during the same period does not help clearing things up.
Agreed.
The other French Stela car is this one:
