Who built this car, what was it based on and what made it unusual?

I note a rather curious oval badge in the middle of the radiator matrix but it's not too clear to make out what it is.

It's not a well-known marque at all. I think only one car was ever built, but it uses the engine from a very common car

It isn't BSA, but there is a very loose connection in the car's design. The builder of this one also starts with a 'B'
