Sorry, to interfere, but there is a small correction necessary:
It is absolutely correct, that the BMW Monti (nick-name) ran with a Lola chassis, type T120. It was a special one made for BMW at the same time as they used Lola-chassis' for their Formula 2 cars.
This T120-chassis has been used for two different types of BMW Montis during two seasons in the European-Hillclimb-Championship:
1) 1967 for BMW G767 (the correct designation for the puzzle car). Explanation: G (for Group), 7 (for Group 7), 67 (for 1967)
2) 1968 for BMW G768 (same chassis but different bodywork). Late 1968-season an additional Dornier-chassis has been built and used with same bodywork

The picture of the puzzle car is not from the Gaisberg Hillclimb race, but:
BMW G767 Monti , 1967-06-04, #3 Rossfeld Hillclimb Championship, Dieter Quester, DNF, broken drive shaft
