Can't quite make out what I'm looking at. Is it right-hand-drive with a fin behind the driver?

To confirm/clarify what has already been said:

  • Started life with a Maserati engine (Chevy-powered at the time of puzzle photo)
  • Not based on a Maserati chassis, but there is a Maserati connection (other than the original engine?)

Was the body custom made or based on something existing (e.g., Devin or other fiberglass body)

Was it built on the chassis/remains of a car that already had a Maserati engine (e.g., WRE)?

fromwien

Not too much known about the car's origin. For sure it was powered by a Maserati-engine

gte4289

Was it raced in SCCA events?
