And it several degress more obscure than a Cadillac :)

no. But I think I may have been misled. The identity of the car was provided by a local historian and apparently he made a mistake. The puzzle car is indeed a Cadillac :( Sorry. Hmm, I think I give ropat53 a point, declare this solved, then I will try to find a real photo of the brand. Sorry.
