This is the M.C.A. Jetkomet, a German-built version of the Rochdale Olympic.

And this is our new Pro, Djetset!
:applause: :applause: :applause: Congratulations!   :applause: :applause: :applause:
(BTW I looked for a pic of this car for quite a long time and then...it was just as the Rochdale!)

Carnut

Me too.  But I knew Rochdale would be just too easy.  I never even knew there was a German version!

Thank you for your kind welcome to the Pro club PJ.   I first discovered AutoPuzzles by accident exactly one year ago today (December 8) and registered immediately, so becoming a Pro is a nice way to celebrate my first anniversary.  It has been great over the past 12 months to discover so many wonderful new cars that I didn't know about before, as well as discovering that I am not the only guy out there who spends too much time thinking about cars when he should be getting on doing other things  ;D

BTW, this is the only photo I've ever seen of the M.C.A. Jetkomet, and a Rochdale-owning friend of mine denied all knowledge of the car until I showed this photo to him.  A rare find indeed.

I hope your next months will be as interesting as the previous, because someone seems to be affected by a disease called 'the loneliness of the Pro'.
Let's keep this section moving as well!

Wendax

Its name is Jetkomet, not Jet Komet, and it is a repost.

Yes, I also know about this spelling (auto, motor und sport, 5/1964). On the other hand, the son of the builder, Thomas P. Otten, writes the name in two words.
It would be logical for 'Jetkomet' to be written in one word after 'Jetstar' is also written in one word.
Thomas P. Otten writes 'Jetstar' in one word, 'Jet Komet' separately
