My first thought would be a French car at Brooklands in the 1920s.
Perhaps a Ballot?

Looks like the road circuit part of Montlhery to me.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Perhaps it is a Peugeot then?

It's a Spag, from 1926. The picture is of an example built for a team called Bol D'Or. My German is as good as my Spanish (which is to say, not good), but I believe the event to be "Osnibichine". Engine is a 1100 cc Ruby DS engine.

I agree that your German is not good.  ;D

But it is good enough to get this point, as this car is a 1926 SPAG.

Bol d'Or was the event (i.e. Golden Bowl in French), d'Osnibichine was the driver. You're right about the engine.

I thought this was a joke when I saw the title.

If you do a Google image search on "SPAG Bol d'Or", you get pages of this sort of thing!  ;D

I believe I have scored 30-40 points using this tool. I know other AutoPuzzles members have been using this search tool, as well. As solving puzzles in this manner is not in the spirit of AutoPuzzles, I have deleted 100 points from my total, and have banned myself from answering any other puzzles for a period of one month.

I will let the other AutoPuzzles members who have used this tool wrestle with their own consciences.
