Zanella 125, 1948, 1962?
ZANELLA, 175 Z Carga, with engine of 170 c.c. years 195...
ZANELLA, 175 Z Carga, with engine of 170 c.c. years 19..
locked for luips
There is no specific information on the start date of the production of the Z Carga vehicles by Zanella, apparently at the end of the 1950s some were made with chain transmission without differential. But in the 1960s, the manufacture of the model with 125 c.c engine and a differential already began according to an advertisement and a photo dated 1962. However, the manufacture of the Z 175 model seems to have not started until the 1970s, which was maintained until at least 1976
ok ok I think it's enought for a point

make, year and country for one point
I am not fighting for a point however, I would like a few rules to be followed:
thorax asked for: MAKE? YEAR? COUNTRY?

Argentina?
COUNTRY found by '727'

Zanella 125, 1948, 1962?
MAKE and YEAR found by 'fromwien'
In my opinion, the puzzle was solved then, or have I understood anything wrong?
There wasn't questioned about the 'TYPE' of the vehicle anyway! 'luisps' made a commendable diligence task after the solution was already found, and never found the correct year.
Here is a picture of this vehicle from 'Zanella'-homepage.
I am not interested in collecting points, but correct solutions, and dislike point-snapping
Clearly thorax considers the cc to be part of the "make"

Even then, it would have been logical to assign the LOCK to the first responder who guessed part of the make and year correctly, rather than to the next responder, who only has to search further on the basis of the correct given partial answers. Or don't you think so?
Dear 'D-type', I remember very well, that you often pointed out to me to formulate exactly what I am asking for with my puzzles. Doesn't this also apply to other players? Or do you measure with different standards?
I don't want this to develop into a petty bickering contest. Suffice to say that you would have answered "No" to "Zanella 125, 1948, 1962?" as it was the wrong model. This would have been misleading as "Zanella" was correct. It was in that context that I started to ask you what details you were looking for to avoid a repetition.
It appears to me that in this case thorax came on and saw two answers:
"Zanella 125, 1948, 1962?" and "ZANELLA, 175 Z Carga, with engine of 170 c.c. years 195..." and decided the latter was closer to the solution he wanted so locked it. In the circumstances, I agree that the lock was a tad unfair to your good self.
