An excellent question with a somewhat complicated answer that may lead to solving this puzzle. ;)

Technically, the answer is "yes," as the manufacturer of this vehicle also produced motorcycles equipped with this engine. However, considering the details of the engine, especially for that period, this seems more like a case of producing motorcycles powered by automobile engines than the other way around.
