1928?
I don't know the exact year of manufacture, but I think it was most likely 1926-27.

Tianjin is not a problem, the publication is a bit of a problem. Was it an American car magazine?
Quote from: pnegyesi on September 18, 2025, 07:29:11 AMTianjin is not a problem, the publication is a bit of a problem. Was it an American car magazine?
It was an American automotive periodical, but not one of the more well-known car magazines.
I was so hopeful that "The Ford industries; facts about the Ford Motor Company and its subsidiaries" will feature it, but no
So I have to ask, is the magazine mentioned in the Bibliography section of the Standard Catalog of American Cars 1805-1942?

I don't have access to the Bibliography section, but it is mentioned elsewhere in the book.
Do you see the magazine here?

There are 77 mentions of the word "magazine" in the book, but there is 0 clue on what magazine you may had in mind.
I'd love to find this but
- it seems this is an obscure garage in Tianjin and I was wondering if there are any other English-language online resources mentioning it
- if not, then we have to find the obscure magazine you have in mind and I think I just ran out of ideas how to find it (tried searching for automobile titles in 1927 but it's either in the Bibliography section or doesn't have this car).
I am happy to brwose through 1000s of pages, which I already did, but my chances of success are diminishing.

If you agree with I outlined in my last message, then my only chance is to find the magazine somehow. Was "auto" part of its title?
Quote from: pnegyesi on September 24, 2025, 07:37:52 AMWas "auto" part of its title?
I don't want to burn the source by revealing it here, but I will say that the title doesn't include the words auto, automobile, car, motor, or motorcar.
Some Ford magazine?
Here we go
Sorry Oguerrerob and thanks for the point
No problem at all
