they don't allow questions like "Beginning with A to M?" even though they can only have yes/no answers.

I've been focusing on US makes that stopped production in 1912.  I have a few other sources to check, just need time at home to do it.

 This is the last surviving Pickard Brothers Automobile, a 1910 Touring referred to as the Model H. (_not_ Packard.)

Well, it was easier than some!  There are a lot of American brass era manufacturers.
