Title: British Specialist Cars - Chris Rees
Post by: Paul Jaray on September 14, 2009, 07:12:57 AM
This book is a reference for the british classics kit cars or low-volume production cars.

   It covers all the makers, from ABI, ABC, ABS, AC, ACM, AD, ADAMS, ADD, ADJ.....to ZAGAROFF, ZETA, ZIGCLAIR and ZITA.
The story of the bigger makers (Turner, Ashley, Rochdale, GP, Trident, Ikenga, Pilgrim,......) is well illustrated in the firsts chapters.
The BW pictures are good and there are 16 pages of coloured ones.
 Except for the 130circa makers in the first chapters, the other are just few lines in the A-Z directory at the end of the book
In the directory (were are listed really unknown, obscure and rare cars) only few pictures show these cars.

This book is a very useful reference work, well written by one of Auto Puzzle's more active contributors.

Don't give me that.  :P  I like to promote our authors.  I need to know who they are before I can do that.

The author is a shy Puzzler, so I would not want to spill the beans!
