Rare & Unique Vehicles Magazine

After 20 years of contributing to other publications and doing a PhD on the history of motoring museums I think it is time for me to manage my own magazine again.
So the idea of Rare & Unique Vehicles was born. It will be a quarterly English-language magazine featuring unique content on 96-pages. Each issue will focus on a central theme, followed by a few anniversary-related features and Spin the Globe. Spin the Globe is a unique column, featuring rare, unusual and interesting cars, motorcycles, trucks and buses from around the world.
The central theme for the first issue is streamlining. Additionally, we'll look at the Victoria K1 – the first BMW-engined motorcycle from 1920, 50-years of Bond Bug. The Spin the Globe section will feature a Trabant-based buggy from Hungary, a French car from 1901 which escaped all the history books, an Australian coupe and more.
Rare & Unique Vehicles will be strictly subscription-based. Each issue will cost €9.90 – yearly subscription is €34.90 for four issues.

I've subscribed. Easiest decision ever !

These last years I have cancelled all my magazine subscriptions (except one) due to lack of storage space and lack of time to read them. But I just can't let pass a magazine full of rare and obscure cars.

On a side note : I haven't received any confirmation email after my order, is it by design ?

A small update: we are teaming up with Readly to distribute the magazine in digital format, thus the digital version of the first issue will be published by the 10th of November.
The printed version of the first issue is re-scheduled to be published on the 10th of January, 2021.

The first issue is now out on the Readly platform - you can download the App and browse thousands of magazines.
Eventually we ended up being 120 pages

Also we are collecting subscribers now with the view of publishing a paper version in early January. However we are now close to reaching our goal so it is entirely possible that we'll come out with the magazine in early December in time for Christmas. Now if I can just find a few more subscribers to cross that line

I've received and read it. Great stuff from first to last page. It's a brave move to publish such a niche product but I wish a very long life to Rare & Unique Vehicles !

8 March came and went. We had technical issues and other problems, but today we finally submitted the magazine to the printer. A digital version will be available to subscribers tomorrow while the paper magazine will be out on 26 March.

It is really frustrating as the magazines were sent out on 24 March from Pennsylvania and it seems a few people have yet receive their copy

Issue No3 is at the printer now. Issue No2 was delayed due to technical issues, but with this issue we are back on schedule. Special theme is coachbuilding with features on Fiol, Vanvooren, Smith&Waddington, Carrozzeria Aprile, Szawe, Géza Nagy, Jan Molin, Waterhouse and many more.
