Proposed BMW Electric City Car
« on: July 06, 2010, 12:04:56 AM »

So, nearly every car company is moving in this direction.  However, with this proposal, I'm at a loss to decide if BMW knows which style direction to go.  This proposal gives no indication it's a BMW, rather it looks more like an Audi A1.  Even the headlights are deriviative of Audi.

If MegaCity becomes an entirely different brand within BMW, and with it different styling, where will MINI go?

Blech.

I can pass on it too.  Do electric cars have to look the part to attract buyers?  I think not, just look to the TESLA.  But uber-geek look at me aside, thought I "might" be interested in an electric car, I'll stay away if they look like these.
