Fellow Autopuzzlers, I present my first group puzzle: Three-Wheelin' Around The World. Yes, I know that there have been several group puzzles about three-wheelers before, and I know there are handy resources out there such as Quiller's book; I have tried to make it so that there were no reposts and no vehicles from that book, though I guess there might be oversights. Also, there may be the odd one or two that are not strictly three-wheelers, but have two rear wheels very close together; please forgive the cheekiness!
The idea is that each of these 16 three-wheelers comes from a different country. For a point, tell me the name of the vehicle and the country it comes from. No clues will be given for the moment, in order to keep the thread somewhat orderly.
Here they are:

Oh these old days when I spent hours on group puzzles... Stunning efforts! Many thanks ;)
I hope some candies will arrive to pro section too :))
-
Perhaps this will tempt SeaLion to return - but there'd not be much for us if he did!
-
Go Experts!
-
The letter o puzzle trike is called "The Zing" by Ken Fry.
-
Yes! It's the Zing. Since I asked for the country of origin of each one, it's locked for you to provide it. Just a formality really.
-
USA
-
That's it, ValkyrieGT gets the first point of the 16 on offer.
-
Well I'm finding it impossible to modify the answers post at the moment to include this answer. I hope the problems that the forum is experiencing can be sorted out soon.
Ah! I found a way.
-
I might have misjudged the difficulty of this puzzle... I thought that the Experts would pounce upon it. To give them a fair chance before the Pros get to it, from now on I will accept questions.
-
Letter k is a battery powered Vikram EV from India
-
Letter A is Mustafa Mohammadi's solar powered trike from Afghanistan
-
Hiawatha collects two points!
The Vikram EV was built by state-owned company Scooters India Limited (SIL), though as far as I know it has remained a demonstrator.
Mustafa Mohammedi's vehicle is reportedly named "Photon"; his creator is a young engineer from Kabul (only 25 years old) who built it in a mere 45 days.
Unedited pictures of these two vehicles below.
-
Letter H is Per-Gunnar Bjork's Harley powered Ariel Atom and Morgan three wheeler inspired trike from Sweden
-
That is correct, but it has a name, I'll lock it for you to provide it.
-
Tree Vee
-
That's right, another point for you
-
Letter J Innvelo Three electric car by Form & Drang Industrial Design, Leipzig, Germany
-
Correct again, another point!
-
Letter L Valene Motors electric Black Mamba from Malta
-
And another point for Hiawatha.
-
Only just discovered this excellent puzzle
c is the Motor Tech Reverso from Brazil
-
f is the Teldiux from Colombia
-
Two points for Quiller! I expected you to get some from this puzzle! ;)

Letter N MJ Vehicle Parts DD1200NZY electric scooter from China ?

Letter M The Lithium Hawk EV built by Sam Pepin in Canada

Letter E EDI T300 electric from China?
-
Letter M The Lithium Hawk EV built by Sam Pepin in Canada
Letter E EDI T300 electric from China?
These two are correct, two more points for you.
Letter N MJ Vehicle Parts DD1200NZY electric scooter from China ?
I suppose it is quite possible that the trike I posted is a version of a vehicle from this supplier. However, it's from another country and goes by a different name, since we have already established that the EDI T300 is the entry from China and there are no repeats.
-
Thank you.. that's why I put a question mark on this one and the T300 as one of the two had to be wrong
-
The pros get a go at the six trikes/countries that remain!
-
N could it be Three Wing SJE KL 200 by Sungji 2014 South Korea?
-
N could it be Three Wing SJE KL 200 by Sungji 2014 South Korea?
Again, this is not the name and country I have it as. But, again, it appears to be a version of the same vehicle, so I am starting to suspect that this trike is probably not built in the country I have it for, but made in China and then distributed and renamed for other countries, which makes me regret having chosen it for the puzzle. ??? Oh well. I may give an extra point to Hiawatha if I can confirm that MJ Group in Changzhou is ultimately the original producer. Meanwhile, the identity of the unit shown in image N remains unsolved.
-
I had n as the Zongshen X3 from China, but that may just be another one from the myriad of versions.
-
Oh my! :sigh:
It seems I made a bit of a mess of this one. I feel especially silly about it because I had another possible vehicle for this country and that would have been the better choice, since it is a unique design which I'm sure is built in the country. Don't know why I chose to go with this one instead.

I see you're not asking about n... I am considering three possible options for it: keeping it up as is until someone finds it, declaring it annulled, or replacing it with another trike from the same country... I lean towards the third option but I know it would be highly irregular. What do you guys think?

ATTENTION EVERYONE
I know this is highly unorthodox, but I thought it would be the cleanest solution.
I have replaced image Monty101-n with another three-wheeler from the same country as the previous one, and this time I'm sure it's built there.
When the puzzle is completed I will repost the image that was there originally, along with the unedited images of the rest, so that future generations who read this can understand what went on there.
Rookies (if there are any), Experts, Pros - please have a go with the new one.
