Enjoy working with this handy tool. We'd like to know the manufacturer, model and year of manufacture.

Goudard et Mennesson radiator, aka "Solex."  Is it De Dion Bouton, or is that too obvious?

Dux

DeDion Bouton isn't too obvious, but it's spot on. I'm locking this so you can specify the model and year of manufacture.

Bill, Dux is a great guess!  I once found a picture of a WWI-era Dux with a captured French Goudard et Mennesson radiator and I posted it as a puzzle.

When a puzzle is locked, I get a bit fussy...

Go ahead and unlock it.  Let's see what Bill can come up with.  I retired from my job at the end of March and have had some medical visits (nothing bad, just time-consuming).

I wish you a happy retirement and, above all, that your health checkups are all those of a young man with a bright future.

My source, a book, mentions horsepower and year of manufacture of the mystery refuse lorry. I have no idea if it can be found online.

Are we sure about that 1920s-vintage date?  I'm seeing sources which list 1921 as the first year for car-type radiators and pneumatic tires.

20 cv

20 fiscal horsepower seems about right. My source quotes 30 horsepower, without specifying whether this refers to engine horsepower or fiscal horsepower. However, that figure doesn't match any DeDion-Buton lorries from that period. Now all that's missing is the correct year of manufacture. I'll lock it again.
