A Ranger, Belgian-built in that case I'd guess?

Oops, forget my answer, I am still half-sleeping I suppose. Vauxhall-based, but it rings no bell for me.

Did it still have a Vauxhall engine or a US V8?
On show in Sweden?

During this era Holden had an 'SS' Monaro, so is this a Ventora SS, complete with go-faster bonnet stipe?

Carnut

Note the car is LHD, so was it for a European market?
There's a VW-Porsche 914 behind it, so perhaps Germany or Austria?

Was it branded as a Vauxhall, but built in Spain?

Built at Zaragoza and called a Ventora VX/490?

These darn straws are so hard to clutch... ;D ;D

Carnut

Zaragoza was of course the Opel factory in Spain, which is why I asked if it was Opel badged.
As far as I remember Vauxhalls were not sold in Spain, and if I recall correctly a manufacturer could only sell a very limited number of cars in Spain at the time of the Ventora (only about 100 or less I think) unless they actually had an assembly plant in Spain.

So, was it badged as a Vauxhall?

Vauxhall Ventora?

Is it 'Vauxhall Ventora Rallye' or something like that?

Maybe you didn't see my question yesterday:
