I'd hate to think that someone did this to one, but is it a rebodied SS100?

For some reason I'm wondering if the basis might be a twin-cam Lea-Francis (or Vulcan) of 1927-9. The engines looked pretty racy for the upright Vintage cars they were and at least one in England became this late 'thirties style sports special.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

I'm sure we've seen that car here before, but could you point me in the direction please?

Thanks Allan. Do you know if any more progress has been made to the car in the last few years?
