"Kustom Kulture 2011", Bottrop - Schwarze Heide

Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit the legendary "Kustom Kulture"-event at Bottrop´s "Schwarze Heide" airport.

Over here in good ol´ Europe you do not see american custom cars too often, really.

Visitors, artist and cars came came from all over the continent.
Despite the partly very bad, stormy and rainy weather the area was very well visited and I had to fight for pictures without too many people running through my motifs...

I made over 1000 pics and did not even finish editing them. ..

Maybe I´ll show some more if I´ll find the time.

Wow, brilliant images!
It's about 10 km away from my home, but was never there.
Time for a change, though I still have some minor problems with their 'staged' posing...

Interesting photographs.
I had no idea there was such a following for these cars here in Europe - I mean the chopped-top old saloons.
Thanks for showing them Grob, you should be a full-time photographer.
