This is more of a public relations stunt than an advertisement, but I thought it might fit here.

A demonstration of the "strength" of the DKW body and chassis.
The article stated it was probably faked a bit by blocking up the chassis off the ground as the tyres and suspension show no deflection at all.

Yes, that´s a famous photo.

The closer I look at it I am sure it has been retouched at the inner side of each wheel to hide the 4 jacks, the car frame rested on... :)

A few weeks ago my wife and I were walking across a parking lot, and came across the curious vehicle shown below.  My wife snapped the pictures on her cell phone, but there was no one around, and absolutely no lettering on the vehicle (perhaps the vehicle was not yet completed), so I have no idea what was being advertised, unless it was some sort of seafood restaurant.

That looks like "Art the Lobster" by AJ Strasser.

Quote
Art the Lobster was designed and built by commercial sculptor A.J. Strasser of Fairfax, Virginia. Building the 35-foot-long Fiberglas crustacean consumed 2,000 hours over six years. "On the road Art delights," Strasser says. "People laugh and grab their friends who laugh, too. These days I use Art as a calling card at meetings with clients. He brings me jobs and considerable press. Although I recognized the commercial potential, I built Art for art's sake."
