We've had quite a few puzzles of cars that were supposed to fly and/or hover. This photo thread eschews those flights of fancy. Instead, this thread is for photos of cars that realy did become airborne. The only rules here:

Photos must be from before 1980, before hotdog stunts became commonplace in moves, TV and the internet.
All 4 wheels must be off the ground

Saw an old ad campaign the other day that, iirc, had 2 of the same model ... 1 firmly on the ground, the other suspended in air. But, sadly, that's all I remember about it. NOT sleeping has its disadvantages.....
