The weather was quite bad and my car broke down.
Not the best setting for a photographer´s project....

But a caring belgian helped me repair my car´s leaking cooler hose and it turned out to be a great day in the end - thank you, stranger...

Here are some photos of this wet event.
Due to the breakdown I made many photos from the surroundings, not too many of the event itself.

But maybe some of you like them anyway.

My personal highlight was the rare white Mean Barquette!

Here´s batch #1:

Great pics as always, Grob!  :)

That neat little Tatuus is so cool! Formula Panda car, I suppose?

grobmotorix

Thank you.

I do not have any information of what you call "Tatuus" - maybe someone else here will know more details.

You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

That little red single seater :) It also has 'Tatuus' written across its engine cover.

grobmotorix

I know. But I do not know more than what can be seen on the photos.

Great pics Grob! I especially like the pic of the NSU TTs under the trees. It almost appears like they looked for shelter from the rain.

HI,

I'm the Owner of the little red single seater.
It's a Formule PANDA TATUUS of 1983.

Originally, it is equipped with a FIAT PANDA engine. But it's now equiped with a A112 Abarth engine.

I own this car since 1988. In fact I had sold it in 1990 in italy but I had the chance to recovered it in 1998. This is the italian owner who put the A112 engine.

It's a very good car, the TATUUS 's chassis is fabulous. The car was inspired by the Formula 1 models of the time (like Brabham BT52)
I again drove it 2 days ago on the circuit of METTET and it still a real pleasure for me.

Thank you for your interest about my car  ;)

Regards

PINO

Thank you very much for this additional first hand information!

Hello Pino, thank you very much indeed! Owing to the fact that championships like Formula Panda were not widely known it is always a great pleasure to have some information about those cars. It must be a great fun to drive a car like that!
