History Road at Reynolds Alberta Museum – 2010 Edition
« on: July 20, 2010, 11:54:53 AM »
Once a year at Reynolds-Alberta Museum they hold the History Road event. They like to try and get at least one vehicle for each year from 1900 to current. Canadian variants are featured strongly. This results in a fantastic display of cars from the last hundred years or so from the museum’s collection as well visitors can enter their own vehicles. Best of all you get to see them driving around. Where else can you see a 1912 Chase driving?

Held on June 12 & 13 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta

1908 Thomas Flyer replica waiting to circle the track

1936 GMC Rad Rod Tow Truck. Fantastic beast! Towing a very original 1928 Chevrolet.

A tracked Ford Model T tractor/snowmobile conversion

Very rare Canadian 1960 Frontenac – one year only variant on the Ford Falcon.

1957 Mercury Montclair Convertible

1919 Gray Dort 11D Ace – A Canadian company Gray-Dort built Dort cars under license in Ontario.

The only car representing eastern Europe was this charming Skoda Rapid 130. Rear engined and with the rare for Canada 5spd it was great to see.
