Moscow automobile museum. Some old photos.

Good night everyone )
I now work with AIs and tried to make a bit better some of my old photos from Museum taken with simple pocket soapbox. And then thought it can be interesting for our community.
So now i will post some soviet cars here, enjoy )

1. Replica of racing Moskvitch-407 Coupe.
2. Rallye Moskvitch-412s.
3. Moskvitch GD-1, never raced 1.5 liter V8 engine for Formula-1.

1. Replica of ~1940 racing GAZ-GL1, facrtory racer based on production saloon GAZ-11-73, whitch itself is modified M1 - improved licensed copy of Ford, equipped with soviet version of Dodge D5 engine. Here forced to 100HP. Original GL1 made soviet land speed record, a bit over 160 km/h.
2. GAZ model A. First soviet mass produced passenger car, licensed copy of Ford model A.
3. Early GAZ-M20 'Pobeda', first soviet postwar car.

1. GAZ-21 'Volga' series 2.
2. GAZ-21 'Volga' Series 1, rarest of all.

GAZ-M12 'ZIM'. Unibody construction based on stretched 'Pobeda' with the same very popular in Sovet Union copy of Dodge D5 engine. Also Pobeda's engine is the same  cutted off to 4 cylinders and 2.1 liter.

GAZ-24-95.
'Volga' with modified 4x4 UAZ drivetrain. Said it was developed as a hunting car for Leonid Brezhnev, aroud 5 cars were built.

Now some big cars.
1. ZIS-101A, improved ZIS-101 (see later).
2. ZIS-110 in taxi livery. Heavily based in 1940s Packard-180. They were really used in long-range taxi services.
3. ZIS-110B convertible.

ZIL-111. Used only for government purposes.

ZIL-114. Next generation of ZILs government limousines.

Next one - ZIL-115. In production was renamed to 4104-series according to new industry standard.
41072 'Scorpion' - escort guard version, equipped with handrails, government radio and so on.

SMZ S-1L and SMZ S-3L, microcars for disabled people.

1980 'Pangolina' - one of the most famous soviet self-made car. Built by Alexander Kulygin.
Now (2013 i mean) in poor condition, heavily modified and simplified. As far as i know it's now under restoration.

Moskvitch-2142 'Ivan Kalita' - stretched saloon based on 2141, made just right before plant's death. There were a lot of, ghm, weird prototypes then.

No. As far as I remember, there were no Ladas at all.
But an exposition of rescued an AZLK/Moskvich museum.
Some more protoypes. Sorry, the cars were too close to each other and I had just a simple pocket camera then.
Still hope to visit it again in august )
