Here is a Packard copycat, the russian Zis 110, in 1946. And another Zis, in 1937. I'm not sure what american make it did mimick, but surely some autopuzzlers will know.

Yes, built in 1951 when the photo of the Filton plant was taken. It's an exceptionally fine motor car. I also had a later 1972 Bristol 411 S3, which I sold recently, but now regret.

The Clan Motor Company, Washington UK. Set up by Paul Haussauer who together with a small group of ex Lotus employees made the Crusader a Glass fibre monocoque car powers by the sport version of the Sunbeam Imp. These picture (I think) were take late 1972.
