Here are the promised pictures of the 4th RTCC round of 2009 which took place on October 3 near Dmitrov, Moscow region, at what is claimed to be Europe's largest automotive range, which was built for NAMI in Soviet years. Some pictures today, the rest is later.

Them are some proper racing cars.  No lorries in THAT group!    :)

Yikes! Those are some strange looking race machines!    :o

Just goes to show that the urge to race is part of the human psyche. Doesn't really make any difference whether you've got coil overs and sticky tires. Racin' is racin' in any language!    ;D

And frankly, that looks like WAY more fun to watch than just about any of the sanitized, packaged and marketed series we have today. And that includes Formula One.   :(

The rest photos. On-track action may look the same, sorry for that, but I could do nothing - there was only one sport where the visitors were allowed - a bit of ground behind a fence.

More from the track and paddock.

And the last bunch.
