From 07.– 11.04.2010 the Techno Classica opened the gates this year to celebrate one of the most impressive car shows I've ever seen!
Every square meter of the fairgrund was jam-packed.
The big German companies like Mercedes-Benz, VW (with Skoda!) BMW and Porsche booked huge stands.
Mercedes in particular got an exhibition hall for its own!

Drawback of the big range of cars: one didn't get enough space to make proper photos.
Visitors constantly stand in the way or even worse you don't find a good positon for good shots.

I will add the model names and designations step-by-step, but most of the cars are well known to my best knowledge.
Unfortunately my camera failed sometimes, so, please apologize the partly fuzzy or grainy pics
.

Wow - you have a knack for taking great pics. Even the bread van looks good, they way you shot it!  :)

After the show I made these pics of visitor's cars, but as both of my batteries were empty I had to do those with my cell-phone.

Great pictures!

For those who would like to see how the BMW 2800 Spicup could go down the drain... http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum/general-automotive/950-who-knows-bmw-concept.html

Can somebody identify this Alfa Romeo for me?

faksta

It is a 1953 1900 Barchetta. PM with a source sent.

@ Faksta: Thanks for the link with additional pictures.

This extra info confirms my thoughts that it is most probably one of many reproduction Alfa Romeo 's that have been made during the past decennium...but were the seller always claims that it is a genuine car originating from the '50.

This car has no historical value whatsoever.  Must laughable are the Conrero badges on the front wings.

It's a pity there are people trying to falsify the history of Alfa Romeo just to make a profit.
It is already hard enough to trace back the brands full history without these misleads!

What an amazing collection!  And the lighting was helpful to the cars in photographing them.

Very, very nice.

I love to wander around the parking lot of these events also, as you'll often find "enthusiast" owned vehicles there as well.

Despite the fact that I´ve blown my engine at 160 km/h on my way back from 2010 Techno Classica it´s been agreat event, really!

And I´ve shot some pictures, too. Let´s se if I can upload some of those now.
