Good Cars

Let's face it. Today's cars are damn good automobiles. One could almost imagine a Hyundai Accent beating Jim Clark's time around Watkins Glen in his Lotus of 40 years ago.  A stretch? Maybe...

Indeed!

Of course that is why its good to have a modern car AND a classic. When I need to rush a pregnant wife to the hospital there is no need to much around with a balky carburator and a fall morning on a twisty back road doesn't have to be wasted on a minivan box.

Absotutesly.  Only a fool would have a "classic" as your daily driver.  By definition, a daily driver must be capable of being driven EVERY DAY without fail or excuse.  A classic car, by definition , is the antithesis of a daily driver.  Which is why I got rid of the Maxima. I simply can't afford to have a car that is at the shop having one thing or another fixed. If I'm not moving, I'm not making money. Hello, Toyota!!!!    ;D
