And Indy cars come to Monza! In the first of the two "Race of Two Worlds" events (1957 and 1958), an envelope-bodied Jag takes the lead, but is eventually lapped. Though a number of Formula 1 teams had agereed to race, they withdrew, citing the risk of "mass suicide". And yet, there were no crashes in this 1957 specatcle.
