I wonder why the sign says "Imp Snow Mobile's"?  Imp Snow Mobile's what?!

Ah I just noticed you've spotted it too!  Unfortunately way too commonplace an error; schools are far too busy re-naming their toilets "Gender Neutral" instead of Boys and Girls to avoid upsetting the apparent multitude of transgender children to bore today's kids with English grammar....  I'm sure the young teenage girls are very happy sharing their facilities with smutty 14 year-old boys...!

I was waiting for someone else to post 499 so I could post yet another Ferrari but I've given up so I'll post both 499 and 500:

Interests in life:  Cars, cars, cars - oh and ..er..cars

There's an interesting thread on P*****H***s in the Lounge section about school experiences in the 1960s. How things have changed. Incorrect grammar is a bugbear of mine but I also accept that languages evolve - that evolution is fine with me if it's new words or idioms, but not if it's the general acceptance of incorrect usage.

There is a 501 on here amongst all the other numbers and letters.

A phenomenon in German language, too. Interesting to see that you call it "grocers' apostrophe", we call it Deppenapostroph (twit's apostrophe).

This is the reason for the British explanation - some grocers' stalls have this error on every placard.

They seem to be the worst.
They all advertise Apple's, Pear's, Lemon's, Orange's etc etc etc!

Can't imagine where you found that..
That must be the worst English I've seen in a long time!
