The #1833 is on there but got a bit blurred when I enlarged the image. Were any of these early steam-powered vehicles actually ever built? I have a feeling they were mainly artists' impressions of what the inventor intended, rather than drawn from actual evidence. I don't know why they just didn't take a photo.............. :lmao:

The man sitting inside the car and looking at the camera through the window is none other than Thomas A. Edison! The photo was taken in 1914 and the car is a Detroit Electric.
