Title: Crazy fuel prices
Post by: @re on May 18, 2008, 03:38:09 PM
Just thought I'd share this with you: I just drove past a couple of gas stations today, and the Norwegian prices are just completely ridiculous these days. In areas that are less rural than where I live it's probably somewhat better, but this afternoon one litre of 95 octane unleaded fuel costs 13.20 Norwegian kroner, which equals just about 1.65 Euros. And what's even wilder: The diesel is more expensive still, at 13.70 NOK (over 1.70 Euros). In my 30-year lifetime fuel has never been this expensive - only 3-4 years ago we could get one litre for less than 9 NOK (1.10 Euros). We'd better hope that the Tesla Roadster will be affordable one day...
