Found three more names from Formula Easter.

One is quite an obscure - Gedeminas Neverauskas from Soviet Union has raced his privately built car (not sure he was a designer) with Lada 21011 engine in 1979.

The others are more interesting. Romanian team has entered the 1986 and 1988 races on cars called GT-86 and GT-88. There are pictures of them in the web, but they all look quite different... Also, despite my source for the results lists them as 21011 powered cars, there are mentions of that they could have been powered by Dacia engines.

Finally, Andras Gergely from Hungary has raced the car called Vasert G01 in 1988. Pictures also exist in the Internet.

Also, Zoltan Stiller from Hungary has raced a car called RAF-s. Obviously, a relative of the Czechoslovak RAF, but I can't recall the 'S' model. I suppose, it is a modified car, and S could stand for Stiller. The only picture I know of this car is the shot of a driver in a cockpit...

And what about Lada Niva? Its engine was an evolution of VAZ 2106, which was an evolution of 2103. It widens a range, as there have been some Niva versions made in France by Poch, in Czechoslovakia and even in Canada, which had no analogs on Russian market. Do you plan to go this deep or will you include the RWD cars, which were the most similar ones to the 124?

Theoretically yes, at least if they maintain a significant part of the original Lada (like the second picture).

Not Niva: it's basically a different project than the 2101/2103 and not so much Fiat-related.

As a base model yes, but in these book I only include third-part conversions (not standard Fiat-licensed models). If any Turkish conversion comes up, it's really welcome because I never found one...

Since 1971 Poland had its own formula - Formula Polonia for cars based on Fiat 125p mechanicals.
I suppose (only suppose, as I have a tiny piece of information about this serie) that most cars were the same chassis as Polish F.Easter bolides, but some cars were surely built for this formula. If I get it right, there was a car called Kaczorka ('Little Duck'?) with some pictures of it in the web and still existing. Also, Wieslaw Mikolajczyk has driven an unknown car, which I have never seen anywhere else.

Formula Polonia is a black-hole for me... I'm trying to dig a little, but my understanding of Polish is quite unexsisting. I'll try with Google translator and ask help to some Polish friends...

NAMI 0290 Apelsin (rally car) - based on ZAZ mechanicals, but equipped with VAZ 2106 1600cc engine. Year 1988.
Apal Stalker (the soft top off roader) - based on Zhiguli chassis, but equipped with a VAZ 341 diesel. Qute recent car, from 2000s.
You have already mentioned VIS (Vazinterservis).

Googling that name comes up a taxi service company. Is it also the maker of the cars? And have you any further info and picture?

Ah, yes. I think they are mostly dealing with selling cars and working as taxi service.

The red car is Eleks. It is a symbol of the company and was made in a single example as an advertising car. I have just found out that they have actually ordered it to Cardi (probably you could have heard about them before).

the lenghtened versions were made on VAZ on their behalf as well - I have dug out a little note about them.

So, probably Eleks Polus should better be excluded, as they were just customers for Cardi and VAZ.

So the lenghtened version are "official" factory-made VAZ models and not conversions...
But I don't know actually Cardi... unless it is the Italian truck converter.  Ok... found on Google.

Apart from VIS, Zhiguli based cargo cars were made at Izh and called Izh 27175. They were a mix of their previous model - Izh 2717 and VAZ 2104. It was presented in *cough*2006*cough*.

Cardi is a Moscow company which made a number of quite good looking prototypes. I'll look whether they've had something Zhiguli based.
